Today we did fitness testing, I didn't do my personal best or come close to what I normally am at. After my knee injury its going to take a while to get back into shape as well as getting used to running in my knee stabilizer.
Here is how I did
Beep Test: 7.5 I normally get 10 -11
T-test: 12.8 s I normally got 10 or under
Sit and Reach: 4 I normally got 4
Vertical: 240 standing 300 jumping I normally got 65 or more for my vertical
Plank: 30 s I normally got 60s or more
Push ups: 5 I normally got 15 minimal
Balance board: 7 I normally got 5 or less
So as you can tell my fitness has gone down, especially since my knee injury. I don't make excuses so I plan to have a better improved fitness level by next testing. I have been getting back into training not as intensive and my goal for the end of the year is that I have a better fitness level than last year.
So the running is obvious but I wonder why your push ups are down? Working on core and upper body while your knee heals is a great way to stay active/fit/healthy without hurting your knee more. Did you really get 80cm on vertical? That would put you with the highest jumping boys in our whole school? I want a video of this when you feel better. :)
